Returns and Exchanges

At Kalaalaya, we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our customers with the artwork they bring into their homes. We understand that buying art online requires trust, and we strive to make sure that what you receive matches your expectations. Our Returns and Exchanges Policy is designed to be straightforward and customer-friendly, ensuring that you feel confident and secure in your purchase.

 

Returns Time Frame: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return if you are not satisfied with your purchase.

Condition of Items: To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged, and in its original packaging. We require photographic evidence of the item's condition at the time of initiating a return.

Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team (support@kalaalaya.com) with your order number and evidence of the item’s condition. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed, including details on shipping the item back to us.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 2 business days. Please check with your banking institution if you don’t see the credit to your account.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during shipping. If you need to exchange an item for the same artwork, send us an email at our support address (support@kalaalaya.com) with photographic evidence of the damage. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed.

Shipping Returns

Please note that you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For items that are returned due to quality issues or damage during shipment, Kalaalaya will cover the return shipping costs.

Non-returnable Items

Please note that certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom-made pieces or special orders. We also do not accept returns for artwork that has been altered or damaged after delivery.
